People in Kirklees are being warned about the dangers surrounding a substance known as Mephedrone, with streets names being MCAT or Meow.  The Police, Kirklees Council and Lifeline – Kirklees are all supporting the release of a poster which is being distributed across the district from 16th December.

We were asked by Kirklees Council to create a poster to help make people aware of its potential harm.  Entitled ‘What’s getting up your nose’, it outlines some of the different names associated with the substance and also underlines the health risks involved as MCAT is a substance which is currently legal, however; it is predominately used for plants and can have quite an adverse effect if consumed by a human.

Posted December 1st, 2009 by Simon Asbury

StevewebMy big interest outside work is angling and I have served on the committee of the Barbel Society for the last 8 years. We have recently developed a site for friend and Chairman of the Society Steve Pope. The site has been developed in wordpress giving Steve the ability to manage, update and add new content to his site.

We even get a mention in his latest blog entry  : )
