Background: After spending two years studying photography, I moved to Birmingham to seek fame and fortune and in 1994 joined studiodm, then a small team specialising in digital signage solutions. For the past 15 years I’ve been technical lead at studiodm, responsible for both internal and project R&D. In that time we’ve seen massive changes in every branch of new media; I’m looking forward to seeing what’s round the next corner.

Day to day: These days, my time is split between managing our in-house production team and keeping the technology ticking along. The great thing about this job is you never stop learning and there’s always something new to get your teeth into.
